Dark is a German science fiction thriller web series co-created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. It is the first German-language Netflix original series, and debuted on Netflix's streaming service on December 1, 2017. The first season received mostly positive reviews from critics. Positive and negative comparisons were made to the Netflix series Stranger Things. A second season has been green-lit by Netflix, with production to begin in 2018.

    I really like the story with it's jump to the past and how everything and everyone is conected so far. Looking forward to watch the rest of it.

    This german town Winden though. Dark and rainy, no place I wanna live.

    It's a brilliant show and I totally loved it.

    The characters, music & the atmosphere were great. It felt like I could watch hundreds of episodes and not get bored. I thought it'd be good but it ended up being amazing. Can't wait to see season 2.

    Did you guys watched it in english (dubbed) or in original german language with subtitles?

    Most definitely original language and subtitles.

    i watched the 1st episode with english voice&subs (sorry, german native guys, i'm not a huge fan of german), but i'll switch to the original sound with english subs for the next episode. let's see what it's like.
