    If you like Kurt Vonnegut style absurd satire who even has in common in being also set ww2, then I highly recommend Catch-22 by Joseph Heller.

    Medieval things are overdone IMO :P Oh your bf thinks Mongol one is ok, gotcha, IMO its his best series. But Conn Iggulden is one of the better ones for historical fiction, so if you like the period, you should try him out :)

    Agatha Christie was a required reading in middle school, read the book when it was called ten little niggers, awkward title when you were the only African in the class :D ( I didnt care, but some of the girls were all "offended" on my behalf) But her books is pretty much why I started reading.

    Not even close, only movie I preferred to its book was God father. Rest don't even come close regardless of being top notch adaptions.
