Kafka :tup: Have you read Louis-Ferdinand Céline? I'd recommend him, he's probably the best French writer of the 20th century.

I've read a few of Dostoievsky's books (The Idiot, Letters from the Undeground, Crime and Punishment). I haven't read The Brothers Karamazov and Tolstoy though, those are next. I should read more of Monstesquieu. I've been concentrating more on Rousseau and Tocqueville lately.

I've started reading Chateaubriand's Genie du Christianisme, quite interesting. Oh and Chateaubriand was a fantastic writer.

There's plenty of political stuff in Dante. Leviathan by Hobbes is great as well. I know of Rawls but I never read him.

The Prince is a great read, I love Machiavelli. Depends on what period. If you want to read more Late Medieval/Renaissance stuff, I strongly recommend Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

I'm reading Zbigniew Brzezinski's The Grand Chessboard If you want to understand what's happening in the world geopolitically, especially in the case of Ukraine, read this book.

I'm reading Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco, great stuff.

I'm reading Umberto Eco's newest book Il cimitero di Praga. I like it, it's pretty good.
