That’s fair too, which brings me back to why i feel much more confident about getting a classic no.9 type that can serve as a proper target man and be a handful for defenders instead of only relying again on ST’s that we expect from to win us games all on their own by dribbling, outpacing and creating for themselves, those types that can do it consistently under pressure are rare and cost a fortune… therefore as long as we’re going to look for gambles and opportunities it’s better to also have someone that you know what to expect from, nothing fancy but efficient in what he does thanks to his size and physicality, even better if he is a proven goalscorer.

This is how I feel about most transfers these days.

It's hard to know how players will perform at different clubs. They aren't as headstrong as they as used to be and find it too easy to give up and do the bare minimum while collecting a wage.
