I rate him quite highly and frankly as a freebie wouldn’t mind us gambling on him for a couple of seasons as long as we finally move on from our current duds… tho must be said his potential to decline and injury history are genuine reasons for concern so we need to evaluate very carefully.

Don't have access to PL, but I assume he remain a WC goalkeeper with random mistakes every now and then. That injury record scares me however. He is not that old for a GK and may have a few years left in him. But he is not getting any younger, meaning that injury record will only increase. Also, I don't understand, his contract doesn't expire until 2027 so why would he be a freebie?

Excellent question, in fact you are right and i think there’s been some confusion when reading some of the rumors online, he will only enter his last year of contract this summer which probably means he could be available for relatively cheap but definitely not for free.

He was potentially free for months due to expiring this summer. Liverpool extended for 1 year in auto clause in his contract.

Presumably so they can sell him for small profit.

I have zero worries about his quality, still top goalie and 33 for a goalie is like 28 for outfield player.

Only genuine fear factor is the injury side of things. It's not that common for a goalie to be injury prone.

Liverpool want 15 mil for him. He was on his last contract year but Liverpool had an option to extend it for one more year which they took.
Under these conditions I'd stay away from him and he's often injured.

It surely doesn’t sound as feasible anymore when you weight in the wages too which will be among our very top earners… i’d say the fee probably needs to be about half of that for it to make sense for us, because the risks are definitely there and ideally we’d have to attach most of that fee and wages to performance/appearances related bonuses.

✅ #Juve advances for #Alisson. New contacts between the parties are expected in short order.

‼️Discussions are underway on a three-year deal worth 5mln€ per season. One of his biggest sponsors is Luciano #Spalletti.

#Liverpool, which has just triggered the automatic extension until 2027, has not yet made a decision on his future. The valuation is at least 10mln €.

His recurring hamstring injury is a big problem, would be great at a club that doesnt rely on the goalkeeper to kick, pass or move around. Hmm
He’s living off his prime. If he were still any good, he wouldn’t be getting linked with Juve. We always look after injury players. Juve's always the ones who take care of injury prone players. None of the EPL clubs have even made him an offer.

Yesterday we had a paid Cumolli bot fapping to these rumors

It's madness to pay any kind of a fee for an old, injury prone goalie let alone €15M but its Cumolli who is about to pay €50M for Openda so won't be surprised if we blow our budget on an old player and then complain that we dont have funds

Those hamstring injuries are a pain in the ass. Well literally right distally from it, but whatever. Serious question marks over this one. I'd rather avoid any player with this kind of history...

Swapping di gregorio for alisson just seems like its gonna backfire. Id rather save that money for something they actually need. These idiots dont know what they have in Daffara and are gonna fall victim AGAIN to this “experience” bullshit. Again and again, they never learn.
