Alisson will not join not just because Liverpool wants to keep him, but because Spunkletti has full confidence in the Inter keeper and there's no money to get anybody else. I think it's also because Inter and Napoli fans sort of stick together on certain topics.

It’s obviously all going to depend on Liverpool here, if they still want to keep him as their no.1 GK then i don’t see how we’d be able to lure him away, not without a hefty transfer fee anyway, nor do i see the player pushing for it if he’d get more guarantees there.

Imagine missing out on Bernardo Silva and Allison then realizing we are sticking with Koop and Di Gregorio

Fuck
digre should be the first player out, closely followed by david and cambiaso. those caused the most harm

we'd be fine without allison though. his experience could help, still a good goalie, but his fitness hasn't been the best lately

We need to return to Marottaball transfers till we can challenge for the title. Cheaper, older experienced players on moderate salaries who are winners but are out of favor for some reason or another. If it doesn’t work out, we can move on from them easily.
This trend of buying flashy players on exorbitant salaries and/or transfer fees is what has destroyed this club, because if these signings don’t work out, we are saddled with them for years and years.

It has been confirmed that Liverpool are extending him for a season.

So this goes down as a failed transfer, probably both for Cumolli and Spunkletti.

Close thread and delete club.

Bullet dodged ultimately despite Allison being a great GK, his wages and fitness concerns on a ~3year contract could have also created more issues than it solved… in our current state rather just get De Gea as an experienced stopgap solution, comes cheaper, and there might even be a chance to swap some of our own deadwood Fiorentina’s way in exchange.

Can imagine how Cumolli would've had this conversation with Alisson

'Tell me why do you want to be Juventus goalkeeper and what do you aim to bring to this role' or some shit like that
