Regarding De Gea it surely won’t be an easy task to get over the line but i think there’s a fair chance if we maybe manage to lure the player into forcing or pushing for the move himself.

Though there’s a big difference between the two cases in terms of market value and them being at very different stages in their careers… De Gea is nearing the end of his and might be inclined to sign up for one last big challenge instead of settling for relegation battles there, but we’ll see, as i said it will likely be essential that the player pushes for the move because imo Fiorentina from their current position can’t exactly demand too much either, more so with no bidding wars or PL interest on the horizon.

Yes that’s why i said it would probably require the player himself to force Fiorentina’s hand into letting him go, but i do agree it’s more unlikely than likely atm, and that it wouldn’t be an easy negotiation if it does get to it.
