Though now just looking up Cowboys went 17-3 against us in the 70's. TG Vermeil and Co gots us going in the right direction!
Quite the day and cold enough that Landry couldn't wear his signature hat.
Sadly they laid an egg against the Raiders in the SB.

@MrMonkey my first year in the Philly area and watching football was the one where the Patriots beat us in the Super Bowl. Hard not to become a fan with how hype everything and everyone was.
:vidal:. Yes football is #1 sport in area. T.O. came out to play coming back from the injury while too many others didn't.

McNabb over his career had his great moments but also too many not coming through in the clutch games. He wanted to be the Man and was so mentally weak with fans loving T.O. more. IMO McNabb easily could have been the bigger man and resolved the situation. Could have been a few more good years together.

And Andy Reid no doubt HoF coach ASAP possible after retiring, but when in Philly had many major sideline decision issues involving top of the list time management. Unfortunately improved when he went to KC. So remember the SB game where we're down two scores late in 4Q and Reid no rush to get plays called. McNabb reportedly throwing up lol. They both seemed to be having brain freezes.

@ALC here is an article detailing the time management situation from that SB.....

The beginning of it tells it all .... and this from Coach Reid about it lol....
''We did try to get it going,'' Reid said of the offense. ''I can't tell you the details, the circumstances on why it didn't work as well as it should have.'' :sergio:
You want details, you and McNabb fuked up/choked during a crucial period.

Very well aware of the Andy Reid time management issues, still a current meme in the city. It’s all love for him tho, he could’ve stayed and won here but after what happened with his son, I don’t blame him for wanting a new place.

McNabb was always a man child.

Nice.
Mine is Penn State
Was rooting for them against ND but with as shaky as the QB was that game, thought Franklin would have settled for OT but he didn''t.

Elliott again not being his usually can[t miss self missing PAT. Only up 6 let's hope it doesn't come back to haunt us. Need to go down and at least get that FG.

Sad to see Dean go down after really coming on this year and wow of game against GB until he went out. It's a torn patellar tendon which read is worse for football players than ACL tears. Supposedly will take more time to heal and possibly could miss not only games next season but maybe all of it.

Here's the Georgia boys from the game in Brazil. Smith is turning into a monster edge, Carter is a beast along with Davis at a lesser level and #22 Kelee Ringo is only 22 and expect him be playing more once Slay goes. So sad to see a smiling Dean not continuing with us this postseason. Eagles Dawgs are like a family that Howie did a great job drafting. All I believe under 25. Only issue I see is being able to resign them all with salary cap the way it is.

Did you guys watch Chiefs - Texans yesterday? Like what the actual fuck. Refs are ruining this sport, it's like watching fucking Serie A. Mahomes is diving like a fucking Lautaro for fucks sake.

I hate the chiefs, crazy how many calls they get and the stuff they let Mahomes get away with. So fucking tired of that team
