I'm worried that if Elkann does decide to bring him in that it might be because of his reputation of getting 100% out of average players so he thinks there will be no need for a player overhaul and he might somehow get a tune out of Loca, Koop, Openda etc

Sorry folks, if it is between Conte and Spunkletti, the decision is obvious. If these retards like Chiellini are going to be in charge, and here they are "70%" throating Spunkletti for no reason at all, here's hoping the loser resigns and they sign Conte instead. If we're resigned to having decrepit old Italians on the bench, might as well get the best one available. The club is retarded anyway so who cares.

How many managers on the books can we afford to pay at once? Motta, Spalletti, etc.

Conte has destroyed his relationship with our senior management. He is strongly linked with the Italy job, that is his next move IMO.
relationships can be fixed easily. in business there are no hard feelings.

No thanks. We'll make a defensive 3-5-2 for this fucker to have one good season then quit when we don't get him M'Bappe. Then we go into a whole new transition period.

Bring him back

I'll take two years of dogshit performances in Europe(not like we're already shit now) as long as we are back challenging for the league again and then build from there with a better coach.

Take him if he's available

Conte is a short term burst at a big price and nothing to build off of.

No single coaching choice is going to fix the broken foundation underneath whoever is the mister.

Hiring Conte would be putting up new wallpaper on the Titanic.

I cant think of a better alternative for Spunkletti. This management will not think out of the box so might as well get someone who has a consistent track record of getting teams back on track after torrid seasons.
