Lol that's not what he said. He said "That was my first goal with Leverkusen" then he paused and said "that keeper later became depressed and killed himself" but he never implied that he killed himself because of that goal, and he didn't laugh.
The most important part is he didn't laugh after he mentioned that the GK suffered, and committed suicide. He probably just mentioned it in the moment, there was no ill intent.

He was my absolute favourite. The work rate was insane plus his technical skills. Threw it all away. Maybe my bar for loyalty is too high in modern football.
I think the drink driving made us want to sell tbh. Because 40m was a joke of a price for somebody so good. He was a 60m player at the time, and probably 80m at his best for us.
