Not really the debate we're having in this thread, but I have to applaud the humility from Del Piero there.

So often we have these legendary players come out and say they built their own careers, they worked so hard, they did everything themselves, etc.. In the same way successful business men believe they don't owe their success to anyone.

The reality is that, yes, you do have to work hard to achieve something in life. But you also need a helping hand every once in a while. No one does it alone.

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has warned Italy could lose its role as co-host of the 2032 European Championship unless the country upgrades its football infrastructure.
In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday, in which he backed Gabriele Gravina, ‌who has since resigned as Italian football federation (FIGC) president, Ceferin repeated his previous criticism of Italy's lack of modern stadiums.

I giggle when I remember how the Italians made fun of the locker rooms and the pitch in Bosnia.

To be honest it's not that they made fun of it, it's that they perceived the stadium as pretty hostile.

To add, they celebrated when they found out they’d be playing Bosnia since they were ‘easier’

I blame them for being caught on camera, but I don't blame them for celebrating. Imo Bosnia was the easier opponent and it's normal to wish for the easier opponent. It's normal to celebrate that. But not publicly.
Of course, it turned out that even the easier opponent was too much for them and now it's super funny :D

Apparently Sarri a possible name for head coach

He’s old and despised by Tuz, but probably the only one from the list of candidates whose teams actually play modern football unlike dinosaur tactics of the others

before saying that re-election is out of question, dude has stated that everyone still trusts gravina.

italian football in a nutshell. rotten environment with rotten people. once again, they deserve this, they worked for it relentlessly

all of these dinos should just retire asap. they failed for more than 2 decades by letting calciopoli happen

hey if they still trust gravinter, then don't expect the national team to go to anymore world cups simple as that, you don't want to change, fine keep digging that hole bigger then. This fucked up government can and should wipe the slate clean, but why do that.
Look at all the success the national team had the last 3 world cups that they never participated in.Don't change shitaly please don't i love it when my own country of birth doesn't learn shit, over the last 20 years.
