I've said it before and I'll say it again. Michael Olise is the most underrated player in world football. He is fucking incredible!
At this point, what's missing for him is doing it on the biggest stage.

He'll have his opportunity this year with Bayern in the Champions League and France in the World Cup.

It feels like every week in Europe it's the same thing. I was looking forward to Bayern vs Hoffenheim today on 1 tv with Liverpool/City on the other, and it was ruined by a ridiculous early red card for Hoffenheim.

I'd say it's not surprising the refs favored them in the "Bayern League," but I saw the ridiculous officiating last week when Bayern got screwed by the refs all game vs some bottom feeder, and people on twitter were joking it felt like the referees were officiating the game to try to close the gap between Bayern & Dortmund.

Why is it so hard to get games that don't feel like they're so influenced by poor/inconsistent officiating? Every week I'll have on 5 or 6 games and it feels like 50% of them are heavily influenced by controversial refereeing decisions -- and it's not just VAR doing it.

I've noticed this in La Liga too. The whole system is designed so that Barcelona and Real Madrid keep winning games.

Who even watches Bundesliga though? It became such a meaningless league i haven't seen a game in like 2 years.
Most people say that about every league outside of the EPL. And even we know City, a club with 115+ charges hanging over them for most of the decade, are going to win that most of the time.

You can say Serie A is fun and interesting. Most people outside of Italy just consider it another farmers league with no top club and a bunch of mediocrity.

The reality is, the Champions League is the only trophy that all fans respect.

Well it's like the most dominated ligue by one club, so it's totally boring to me. Bayern has almost 4 goals scored per game (81 goals in 22 games) it's totally unbalanced to me. They only lost 9 points so far in entire campaign. Even Ligue 1 ain't that one sided.

Bayern have won 23 out of the last 32 titles or something. I appreciate that they're a great team but basically on the rare occasion they get it wrong one year or another team has an exceptional season they will win it the next year. The only time that didn't happen was with Klopp's Dortmund.

That's not great in terms of competition and is very much a one team league if you look at those figures, but then you could say Bayern have been better than any Italian club over the past 30 years. At the same time you could argue that because they are the one dominant team in their league things come together for them easier. And from that position it allows them to challenge in Europe more regularly.

I also think that as long as the 50+1 rule is retained Bayern will remain domestically dominant.

@BayernFan How has been Leon Goretzka doing last few seasons? It seems he's going to be a free agent in the summer and he is occasionally linked to Juventus. I can see he played in 31 games this season averaging 47 minutes per game so you could say he's just an option from the bench. I don't see he's been suffering to many injuries last few years.

He’s a reserve these days as you also touched on, he’s not been so injury prone in recent years, but the coach just chose a different lineup.

And he also dropped so much in form the last 3-4 years that it was about time he was benched for good. Bayern wanted to get rid of him for 1-2 years I believe, but he wasn’t interested in leaving because of the big paycheck he receives here. He knew very well no one else would pay him that kinda money.

He could still be a solid player and a good fit for a new club. But he’s not anywhere as athletic and box to box as he was years ago. Nowadays he mostly just jogs around and it’s rare you see him doing real sprints.

He’s way past his best, but he could still be useful as mentioned.

I really cant wait until that useless turd Goretzka is finally gone, I will be so unbelievable happy.

The club who is going to sign him is totally incompetent and my Schadenfreude will be huge.

I don't know what to make of Goretzka. When Kimmich and Pavlovic play, it seems like they're always on the ball. When Goretzka is in place for either of them, it feels like he touches the ball 10 times a half and just isn't in the game. He just doesn't seem like a fit in Kompany's system as a midfielder.

But I actually think he's been ok for the national team in Nagelsmann's system, and I wouldn't be surprised if he starts for them in the World Cup.

I think he has another life in his post Bayern, but I think he needs to play in a 3 man midfield and in a role where you allow him to get into the box and attack more. He needs to play in a role like a McKennie, rather than a Locatelli.

Although I don't see him as a great fit at Juve, especially with the McKennie extension, and the wages he'll want.

got this in a fb group, my buddy's caption: "var would check this for 10 minutes and eventually they'd decide to give a red card to kalulu"
