It's May 24 and I can comfortably say that Bayern have won the 2026-27 Bundesliga

It was a fun season, but Bayern were just too good

There were a lot of fun and exciting young players. I can't wait to see what EPL clubs come and overpay by 50% to sign them over the summer.

Many of the OG clubs of the early 00s either in 2.Bundesliga or rubbish bottom mid-table clubs in top flight

HSV, Werder Bremen, Schalke 04, Wolfsburg etc

This is very dramatic for a 19 year old who hasn't made an official appearance for their first team.

I get the idea, but this is hilariously jumping the gun.

It has no railway station and a population of just 13,000. But it's the first game in the Bundesliga for Elversberg and they're currently winning 2-0 against Bayer Leverkusen (HT).

Holy fuck it's 3-0 Elversberg! Scored immediately after HT.
