"The best team in the world" played like a team in relegation trying not to get embarrassed by a good team. They sat 11 defenders behind the ball and in/around their box the entire game and didn't try to do anything.

What does that make Juve? What are you talking about?

I think Arsenal's starting midfield completed less than 50 passes combined. "World Class" Saka completed 4 passes. THEIR ENTIRE TEAM COMPLETED LESS THAN 200 PASSES OVER 120+ MINUTES.

If Juventus had that performance against the greatest team in football history, I'd be embarrassed. So would you.

Let me repeat this. ANYONE DEFENDING ARSENAL'S PERFORMANCE IS A FUCKING IDIOT. THEY WERE A FUCKING EMBARRASSMENT. Unless you want to admit the "best club in the world" is significantly worse than PSG and that was their only chance to win. Which again, proves how shitty they are, and how embarrassing it is that they won the EPL.

I can't believe I'm having this debate. That was Allegri on steroids.

you are too salty about what some pundits or fans say. be objective and realize arsenal game plan worked to perfection.

their main stars completly neutralized. they were in penalty shootout which is 50/50. they played a fantastic game of defensive football. in penalties its a game of chance.

Barca and Madrid were just too elite. We were clear 2nd best going into both those finals.

As much as I'd like to shit on Allegro (and he deserves it for Cardiffgate), we were never going to win CL's with a midfield of Pjanic-Khedira or a choking Higuain upfront.

The 2015 team was more complete but it lacked a bit more flair and fancy.

ohhh madrrid and barca too elite in the last 15 or so years yes. no one can stop them domianting every CL and winning it ! oh except inter, bayern, liverpool, chelsea

but never juve. because that would require intelligence and courage.

Barca beat champions of Germany, England, France going into the final in 2015. They looked unbeatable that year especially with MSN in the form of their lives.

As for Madrid, we are talking about the same Madrid that did a 3peat in that window. Just look at the squads in 2017. They had an embarrassment of riches on the bench. They had Bale and Hames Rodriguez to come off the bench while we had Lemina and Cuadrado lol

Allegro's a pussy but at best, we would have ran these teams close with another coach. Not winning the whole thing.

That was like an FA Cup game when you get a second division team vs a EPL heavyweight, snatch a goal and defend all game. Its a bullshit tactic. PSG don't defend that well so that should be your focus, and trying to get corners because it's your best tactic. It was a wasted opportunity for Arsenal, PSG were poor.

Also, our loss to Barcelona was because of some key moments, we played a good game and kept up against one of the greatest teams ever. Cardiff was a scared performance, we we no threat.

Last point, the UCL has been won by ultra rich teams. Only Dortmund have threatened and it's because they will always play their attacking brand of football and trust youngsters.

It's difficult to get an exciting final, when only one team wants to play football. The other team played coward football for the whole 120 mins.

I don't really like PSG, but it's good to see Arsenal and their shitty approach didn't play of.

With that said, I actually thought it was a good final. Liverpool - Tottenham in 2019, is one of the worst finals I can remember.
