Como is doing well because they're not an Italian team. Look at this play.

See, Italian football is a cancer.

Can we stop with this nonsense, bro? It's not even about ownership. Como isn't like Manchester City or PSG in terms of backing. They only spent 20M this season compared to our nine digit nonsense figures. It's just that they have a pragmatic leadership team with a simple footballing approach that should make sense to everyone. Keep the ball, defend centrally when needed, and don't change your tactics just because you're 1-0 up. It's really not that hard at all, just common sense football. But my point is we shouldn't start equating playing sensible, modern football with having a lot of money, because that isn't that the case at all. The problem is the Italian mindset, which is a total cancer and has basically killed this club.
Excellent Management
Excellent coach in Fabregas
Excellent Scouting and Execution

They only spent €6m for Milla from Getafe as DM. We also can do this kind of thing rather than spend €50m for Kolo or later €30m on Sarr. With Loca injury one of the condition (50% appearances in competition) for obligation will be triggered

i think we should get used for the coming years to see Como and Roma performing well in Italy and Europe, while we will hold on Dinosaur-Italian-approach ala Spalletti/ Allegri and co.

Its hard to see Como playing such a soccer instead of your beloved team with all that power, otherwise its also positive, that they show Juve how modern football is played.

Sad times for us

allegri is right, football is simple

Como was impressive, Roma not so much - they are lucky Fener couldnt utilise their chances as it could very well end with 3 goals for them.
Also watching Greenwood, while he is totally great player on the ball, this guy is so fucking lazy its unreal. Never tracks back or even puts any effort to fight when he looses the ball. He is definitely not suited to current football.

From our perspective its a good sign that it seems that Malen great form wont last long, he wasnt that good vs Atalanta and same can be said about Fener game.
Also Dybala is already looking like an injury is coming, u could literally see how every tackle Fener player made on him brings him pain. And this is a pity, because he is always a joy to watch.
Roma had a great start, but I still have doubts they will be such a big competitor as some predict.

We're talking about fucking Fabregas.

If he had made Verona a champion, I would have been surprised at his talent, but here he is sponsored by an Indonesian smoker.
Such a stupid take ffs

How is the great Italiano De Zerbi with his 400M worth transfers doing this season?

You dont go from surviving relegation to competing for CL spots and possibly scudetto without spending money

Forget money, Como are playing a brand of football that teams like mediocre JJ or Milan can only dream of.

I mean Allegro played an ugly ass brand of football when he had by far the best squad bar none and we were the richest team in the league by a mile.

Fabregas deserves his flowers.

You admire a man in a rotten league where you haven't seen the World Cup in 12 years..good luck to you

Id go for Pep.. but that is unrealistic so there are plenty of other non italian coaches.
Pep wouldnt come here and we dont have the resources to please him.
I was thinking if we are still down to experiments Gasperini.
If we want discipline and immediate results Conte is actually the obvious pick

I swear it's crazy seeing people questioning Cesc's coaching skills after results he got and style of play he implemented :D
Milan, Juve and even Fiorentina spent more money than Como and guess what? they play terrible football and don't have positive results, so, no, it's not about money.
