I cant say this is a foul, I hate it so much when the players go down when there is minimal contact to their face (or sometimes there even isnt one lol). Saying this I have to admit that Cabal is fucking stupid moron here, because this is the only move that could have saved him here - just go down - no one would even have any problem with this, because there was a contact and not that soft too. Regarding the VAR intervene - it wouldnt do anything even if it could, because he simply stood on his feets.
Yes, i thought his awareness is lacking here. He could be smarter but he choose to keep his feet while his hand movement deemed as a foul that made Yilmaz fall by referee.
It also show on our 2nd goal conceded when he try to chase the air ball against Osimhen while Loca also there to chase and Yilmaz is left out.
Sometimes team was lost because of this small details.
If for example 2nd goal was not happened, the circumstance will be different.
Then after red card, we concede 2 goals more while their 4th goal is completely our mistake. Being 3-2 loss to 2nd leg will be different to 5-2 loss

He is simply stupid, I remember a situation when Galata pretends to send a long throw in, this idiot goes in our penalty and fails to react that his man is running back to get a short throw in to him, his reaction is so slow. He was there on a rollercoaster, its simply not his level.

The meltdown we have as a club in Europe really needs to be studied. We dont lose often, but when we do, it’s in the most embarrassing way possible. Yesterday we actually started somewhat decent, and then in the second half… another meltdown.
A red card shouldn’t mean you concede two more goals. At 3–2 we should have defended with all 10 players, similar to what we did against Inter. But no. We get a red card and the mentality immediately becomes “wow, we’re going to lose even more now… why bother.” That mentality doesn’t come from nowhere. It’s the result of six years of working without a stable plan.
Maybe a year or two without European football would actually be good for this club. At least there would be no embarrassment. Forget the money if the money brings you Openda. Play the youth players. All those talents deserve a chance and they can’t be worse than Gatti, Zhegrova, Openda or Miretti right now. At least then we might actually fight for the Scudetto like Napoli last year or Milan this year.
Why did Locatelli cry last season when we beat Venezia to secure Champions League football? So he can disappear when it matters most? Sorry, but playing and being captain just because you’re Italian leads to nights like this, a 5–2 loss to Galatasaray.
And deciding not to go for the win against Monaco and basically gifting the only point to Villarreal also put us in this position.
Yesterday I was very disappointed. Today I’m just with a bit more clarity. Never expect anything from this club as long as 80% of the team isn’t changed for the better.
Right now it’s time for the club to shut up and just take it up the ass, until we finally build a serious team. If that takes another 2-3 years let it be. But no more humiliations and meltdowns like this.

Ajax, Lyon, Porto, Villareal, Sevilla, PSV, Galatasaray.

This is an absolute disgrace to get knocked out of the most important competition by these teams.

Just sell the fucking club already and bring back the old Juve. Fuck this JJ shit.

In the Turkish league Gala have only 3 players who have played more than 1500 minutes. That's Bardakci (1887) Sallai (1583) and Sanchez (1526).

We have 8 players who are on 1500+ minutes. Kalulu (2202) on top.

So yeah I think tiredness and squad depth are a problem. And the Turkish league has 18 instead of 20 teams in it so they are currently on less matches in the league.

Yes, if we are more cunt like Merda, Cabal should roll on the floor within both hands on his face and scream like a hello kitty being fuck. It will turn the second yellow to yellow card to Galatasaray players, with possibility of straight red

If there is a possibilities for straight red, referee need to check var and his initial move seems not worthy of 2nd yellow just a normal foul, but if the referee and var emphasis more on the full sequence that hand to the face can be a yellow card for Galatasaray based on VAR review.

So lose case scenario is normal foul to best case scenario yellow or red to Galatasaray player

Edit, I forgot Yilmaz already on yellow, but honestly not check var for 2nd yellow being neglected is illogical as fuck. This is a big loophole

I think that our players are tired excuse is just that - an excuse

They definitely are tired. Playing more than 45mins away to Inter with 10 men just a few days before playing with 10 men away to Galatasaray is not easy for any club.

But that doesn't mean that the squad is trash and the players are retards.

Both can be true.

The quality isn't there and we still have a leadership void.

Im too lazy to check but I look at other top teams and they play there top11 week in week out reaching later stages of all competitions - maybe even have a competition or two more (EPL) - starters for their NT etc

These players are just shit, stupid and with no grinta. Never disliked a squad as much aus Jjs

Also you can lose to gala im fine with that. But getting humiliated like that - just embarrassing

Yeah truth is one doesn’t exclude the other, fatigue surely played a part here but it should also not be used excessively to excuse such an embarrassing result, we were just as much outdone by the lack of depth and individual mistakes, some even tactical, which as recent history teaches us are by no means a one off thing only and instead tends to be the standard we’ve got accustomed to from this bunch, always hot and cold.

We know what we need to obviously do next week in the return leg. Wouldn’t surprise me if Gala went all guns blazing trying to end the game early with an open game. They can afford to with their 3 goal cushion. My only issue is, with the chances we’ll create and I think we will, are we gonna be clinical enough?

But check the minutes played by other top teams. They all have 2800 minutes in their legs and perform way better plus they are regulars for their NT on top.

Other than Kalulu there is no exception

It's been a while, but Galatasaray lost 5-1 away to Frankfurt earlier in this UCL campaign.

It’s just to say, that it has happened before and can be done.

If Juventus don't keep the dream alive and believe in the miracle, that's when the real problems starts to arise.

Fino Alla Fine remember?

Juventus have stood at the foot of the mountain before and had to overcome a huge challenge.

The starting point is bad, true and we have to be realistic and admit that the chances are small, - but never tell me that Juventus cannot overcome this obstacle.

Of course it can be done.

A 1-0 lead at half-time, a second goal at the start of the second half and then it’s Juventus who has the momentum going, at home.

Who knows how the Galatasaray players respond in that situation?

I am not saying that it will be easy, but like so many other things in life, it all starts with a dream. Spalletti's task will be to instill a belief and a faith in the players, that this dream, is possible to achieve and that the final outcome can be changed in Juventus favor

Because as you know, faith can move mountains and sometimes dreams do come true
