Like the start for Openda and Mario! Want #22 to do well but I just don't see how you put him at an inside Mid position expecting more creativity though I also would not start Loca there again. Who could be a new starter there?

I'd say just use Thuram as a DM and Mckennie as a B2B. McGoat could also change positions with Cambi and drift to the LW where he can curl them balls in the top corner like he usually does with his silky technique

Neither kalulu nor McKennie are natural wing, They are neither fast nor can crossing. Gatti and McKennie should be dropped and Cambiaso and Mario fill these spots. Kalulu more fits for CB role to RWB .

Cambiaso being back should probably also help with keeping hold of the ball and for a smoother transition, that only if he’s on a good day ofc…

Tbh i’m ok with whichever formula we start in our forward trio, whether Openda or David or even Vlahovic gets the start with Yildiz and Adzic behind the one ST i don’t mind as it would allow us to have game changing subs later on, then i wouldn’t be surprised if we maybe try Yildiz behind two ST’s as an option, either way we’ll surely need a good game from just about everyone to get the win here.
