- Perin is best left unused unless it's an emergency.
- Spalletti wanted a striker, they didn't bring him one, and today he ended up playing with McK as a number 9... a clear message to management.
- Koop shouldn't even play the minute of silence anymore.
- Chico has days where he's a fantastic player, but then there are others like today where he and Openda figtht about who's worse.
- We've played 32 matches and Zhegrova still can't play more than 10 minutes... what's going on? Someone should hold JMedical accountable.
- If they don't give Kalulu a rest, he's going to get injured soon.
Seriously concerned for Kalulu, hopefully holm can take can play while he rests. Kelly and Mckennie will need a break at some point too. Just glad Yildiz got a well needed rest.

Told ya that we have only one threat with the current line ups, thats Yildiz. Still Chico starts every game - and he cant score, he cant shoot, he cant cross, lost most duels and a lot of possession. Still he stays until 80th minute. Boga showed more class in 5-6 minutes when he had those spaces than this chico- cant stand this guy anymore. Dont understand people defending this guy, he is a Bologna or Sassuolo level player.
Koop deserved to get his chance today to compete for a starting spot
Zhegrova same
Openda same
Kostic (same)
Miretti

McKennie was out of power, he needed that rest today

Bremer was also shit today, dunno why he didnt get a healthy rest today. After this kind of injury you need this rest!

this was ugly. locatelli gets a pass, he worked his ass off, but besides him not a single player had a half decent match, stinkers by bremer, kelly, kalulu, mckennie, chico, cambiaso, perin, all the subs... can't blame holm and boga, they just arrived, the rest though, well... i don't think i'd miss zhegrova at all if he was abducted by aliens tonight

Well, totally dominating yet loosing 3:0 what a fucking abstraction. Our defence is shaky at time and that penalty came also from a big hole on that right side of ours, because no one was covering for Kalulu.
Can't really name one player who was the worst, probably Chico but he gets so much hate lately it's too easy to choose him. I would probably go with Bremer who clearly needs a rest, he even said it himself.

Edit: well maybe saying we totally dominated is over doing it since Atalanta just played their game.

Penalty decide the match. They got 1 penalty early. And foul on Cambiasso by the De Roon not awarded.

I feel like we've had a couple of these matches where it just doesn't work. Today we shipped 3 on another day it could've looked a little different. Not the easiest place to go and play but we need to just bounce back, focus on the league and the CL.

Is what it is

To say we had a decent performance or we were dominating most of the time is quite a bit of a stretch. When your defenders kept making mistakes and your attackers kept wasting chance, how can that be a decent performance?

Been way too wasteful here, too many unforced errors, then conceding that unlucky PK early on and missing so many chances eventually cost us…

Probably more rotation to the starting XI was needed if we anyway decided to reshuffle a bit and give minutes to the backups instead of misreading the game in the second half by making subs which put us on the back foot while we were chasing the game, ultimately should have rested more key players and kept some of them to come in and impact the game as subs later on.

But It is what it is i guess, hopefully this won’t be too much of a blow to our morale and confidence moving forward.

This would be different if we score our chances in the 1st half. Our tight schedule means there a chance players can get tired chasing goals in the 2nd half.

We concede from penalty and on Atalanta 2 goals on 70th and 80th minutes come from our misplaced long pass from the back.

Still don’t understand how that one wasn’t at least reviewed tbh, even if Cambiaso went down a bit easily it was still more of a pk than not, Atalanta player did not play the ball and had his arms wrapped around him.

The refree should have checked the VAR, at least.

Well it was definitely more worthy of a penalty that this handball, that didnt have any impact on play, but those are the rules...

Ur right on this, we look like Roma when we write bullshit like this. No excuses - we lost, we were simply not good enough. We really have to change that last decision making, David and McKennie are taking too much time to shoot. How did David not bury that Chico cross at the beggining is also beyond me.
Then Chico ohh well, his finishing is so fucking bad and he cant beat his man lately.
