First of all - Der Spiegel respond sounds like a soy boy's bitching.

Second - how can you trust sources that you can never prove to be authentic. You're going to believe the word of the thief that sold it to you?

Third - to Guarin_fucker. Ronaldo never admitted that Mayorga said no, stop and so on. It was written in the documents that der Spiegel is claiming to be authentic.

Eh, an 18-year-old Ronaldo was good but was very inconsistent with no end product and liked to showboat.

The likes of Rooney, Quaresma and manual other young players were all better than Ronaldo at the time.

Don't think Ronaldo would become the player he is today without Sir Alex Ferguson's guidance.

Let's not use revionist history here about an teenage Ronaldo
Quaresma? The same Quaresma that went to Barca and failed at the same age and time? You're grossly underrating a teenage Ronaldo.

If Quaresma was better at the time, why was it Ronaldo who got selected and starred for Portugal at Euro 2004 and not Quaresma? (who was a year older)

Quaresma displayed a level of talent that indicated he may have been superior to Ronaldo only in the youth ranks but once both left Sporting, Ronaldo left him in the dust.

Rooney was never more talented, he was just at a more advanced stage in his development at the time - with decision making far beyond his years. Once Ronaldo matured himself, he left Rooney in the dust too.

Finally, of course Ronaldo had Sir Alex to thank for a lot of his development too but he wasn't the deciding factor. Ronaldo himself is to thank for his evolution as a player. He almost literally became the best player in the world overnight. He came back from the 2006 WC after all that controversy with Rooney with a chip on shoulder (and we all know how Ronaldo plays when he's pissed off). He took the league by storm; won double PFA player of the year and by the time he was 22 was already the best player in the world. That's more down to his own talent and dedication to his craft than Sir Alex Ferguson's tutelage which was significant but not pivotal. Ferguson himself even downplays his contribution to Ronaldo's success as an individual; saying that the player himself got himself to that level.

Why did his lawyers take so long to respond though?

They should of came out and quashed this immediately and that Journalist's confidence makes me nervous.
It's easier to argue from the perspective of a media person where the rules are shady and your goal is to make people feel and not think. If you read through der Spiegel latest answer you'll see that they are nitpicking arguments and are avoiding the serious topic about the real validity of the documents from the hacker leaks.

On the other hand if you are a lawyer you have to be very precise and accurate about the points you make and this takes more time.

It's like a debate between flat earthers and scientists. One side can talk shit all they want and the other side follows strict rules which makes them a bit cautious and slow.

But flat earthers are right so that analogy doesn’t work here

From this, i start to feel bad now , the case direction isnt in our favour.

This world has no mercy and not a place for nice guys. Those reporters they dont care how much our club did to sign him, dont care how much peace and mind we need to win that fucking big ears cup, dont care about our business image and how hard for us to reach to this point... no we should fall down very bad.
