fucking cuntoli you useless piece of trash, I just hate looking at this, one of the dumbest moves ever ,ever from a ds.
Just imagine romero and this kid on defense with bremer, fucking sad and infuriating and frustrating at the same time. Thanks cuntoli hope you never get another job in football, maybe cleaning jock straps.

Rushed move. He is still 20 years old. Not ready to lead (you are CB you need to lead at the back) a big team. Its all fun and games playing for Bournemouths.

If he is the best CB then why is he most red carded defender in the world? Logically it just doesnt add up.

Most red carded la liga player

Most red carded CL player

Clearly a liability then, more known for his last minute goals.

Imagine if Maldini was the most red carded defender in serie a history or football history? Would you still consider him all time great?

He hasnt been good for madrid. I dont think hes gonna be there long term
I think Shabby likes having a guy who can play the ball and break lines, he'll keep putting him alongside a 'proper' defender. I suppose things could change with a different coach.

Plus the guy is only 20, he'll naturally improve with experience. He's not young Nesta or Cannavaro, but then modern defenders aren't like that.

I look forward to examining Dean’s career against Rugano’s

I said this back in July. What's happening to Huijsen is normal and predictable. We'll see what kind of patience Real Madrid and their fans have.

A 20 year old CB playing on the biggest stage in football with massive expectations --- I hope their fans are prepared for the growing pains that will inevitably happen.

I would bet on him having an underwhelming first season with a ton of mistakes and twitter constantly picking on him over him being a world class player.
For me, it's mostly about the position. Play a perfect game and make 1 mistake and everyone is going after you. And based on the history of young CBs, that's a position where mistakes are going to be made and there will be growing pains. Experience is the only way to learn that mental aspect of the position you need.

You do that as an attacking player, you're three-quarters of the pitch away from your own goal and have players behind to cover. Flash potential a few times a game and fans will be happy and excited about you. It doesn't work that way as a defender.

So yeah, he'll probably an awesome player for them and Spain long term, but there will be bumps in the road that fans should expect and react appropriately to (to which we all know fans are always level headed and never overreact to anything)

The first time he goes up against Barcelona and they give up 4 goals, the entire twitter world will be mocking the signing and saying he sucks and didn't help their defense at all.

because he takes no shit. A CB never getting yellow carded isn’t a good thing. They have to impose themselves.
How many red cards did all timers like Maldini and Nesta took? Thats the thing, some do it clean. Some dont. I just cant put all time great and red cards together. Clear liability factor. Imagine if Chiellini risked a red in every season he played. You would start thinking about replacing him.

Lol using Chiellini as an example. He was a card waiting to happen. Some CBs are just aggressive like that, but it doesn’t stop them from being elite. Its a good thing.
