So, Zakaria is Monaco captain now, and this time playing a sweeper position in a back three. Dude can play as a solid DM or CB, yet our dipshit Italian manager tried to use him as box to box like he was Vidal or Khedira or something.

Yet another player we misused and squandered because of Italian retardation.
Yes i would add him to the list of players that never ever got a real chance here to show something. Mismanagement, atleast we got some cash for him so it didnt hurt, but still, no plan, no vision no strategy at all from the club.

Emre Can same story, was also a really good player at a good age that good develope to a better player, which now is at Dortmund, a club with much more success the last years with Emre than us.

Yes and there is also Henry. I mean come one, those guys were completely different scenarios and different mgmts, Zakaria came here in the winter together with Vlahov, that was ages ago.
Currently our problem is not that, it's that we are planning(?) Mercato with one manager and sack him after few games, apparently those signing doesn't fit new manager at all.

I agree with you thats not our current problem and that Zakaria isnt a good example. I just wanted to state that since 5-6 years we lack good management in all departments, primarily in transfer aspects:
we buy players not pro-actively but reactively. There is no good structure behind a transfer in squad planing and co. We buy, they even dont play much, fail, we consider them all trash then, value sinks, we sell with loss, and than do the same thing again. Mostly we buy them at the final stages of the mercato too so working with them gets hard too.

Your point with Manager is exactly right imo, that negative spirale began with sacking Pirlo, who i still believe could have been our own Top Coach today.
