Lowering the wages on him and the amortization.
He is a striker that is capable of turning the match around, like the Dortmund match this season. He is also the striker that can be a ghost. On lower costs and wages I think I'd do it.

Dusan Vlahovic apparently went right to Juventus himself, without his agent Ristic’s involvement. Juve offered him a salary of €6m per season plus some bonuses. We’ll see if he accepts these terms (Momblano / @juventibus )

Well if the choice is Opebnda the El thing guy from Fenerbahce or whatever. It’s no brainer

Seriously whats his current physical state? seems to be having this same injury for a while now, it's actually a concern that if we rely him as our only main striker, I'd feel more comfortable if we had someone like Kolo as well. Too many questions about Dusan's physical state and I dont trust Cuntmolli to find an ample replacement either as evident on what we have now.

yeah he's an idiot.
this jj management is made to be scammed
if i were his agent, i'd propose a 1 year extension, with the same current salary, then if X amount of goals they have to offer a specific amount he wants. Bang lots of goals during that one year extension, flirt with the Bayern's and Barca's of the world, then sign on a free with with big sign on bonus and bigger salary.
so easy

So.. the idea of offering him just a 1 year contract its to try to get only one strier next mercato instead of two? Cause thats the only reason I can think of...

As frustrating as he is, he's our best striker... If he really wants to stay and agrees on a reasonable salary within our parametres (I'd say not over 6-7 million) it really is a win-win... It lightens our summer mercato by a wide margin and lets us spend in other areas. If we have any money at all that is...

Just to clarify I agree with you that he is our best striker and I do believe that if we can extend him for a reasonable salary it’s a good deal… what I’m not trill is that it’s only one year of contract

At his most non-prolific moments, he was 15+ goals for us across all competitions and scored basically every other match in the CL.

I'm biased but I think bringing him back is the right move and you pray he can find his form and be more prolific than he was at his peak for us.

Yeah, I wouldn't do a one-season contract either... At least insert an option for the club to trigger or something...
