If we miss out on top 4 i think we’d be better off just moving on rather than committing anything over €5m in wages to renew him, and tbf even if we do finish 4th i’m not sure it’s smart to pay him more than that with his injury issues and consistent runs of poor form…

Then again I’d much rather move on and look elsewhere but i doubt this management can find or afford anyone better….

Meanwhile renewing Vlahovic on wages somewhere around €7m might make the management consider the opportunity to sell him and try recoup a transfer fee later on rather than losing him for free now in a market where decent ST’s are neither cheap nor easy to find, although i wouldn’t keep my hopes up about a potential sell when considering how much we’ve struggled to offload him in the past too…

It’s a bit of a two ways street, just hope the management takes the most appropriate decision, or otherwise wouldn’t be surprised if we just lowball him and he ends up choosing himself to sign on a bosman somewhere else, which is quite likely too.

Then we will lose our probably best finisher who could do better and is injured constantly.
Low ball and if he goes he goes..

yeah an unavailable striker is just as good as an available one indeed

it's 2026 and ticiconomics are still trending on tuz

:wittl:
his injuries recently have been unfortunate. I understand why you are concerned, but before his injury he was on his oath to becoming a beat again under spaletti. Just needed time.

hopefully he accepts offer of 8-10m net and we can save money while he stays here
