his injuries recently have been unfortunate. I understand why you are concerned, but before his injury he was on his oath to becoming a beat again under spaletti. Just needed time.

hopefully he accepts offer of 8-10m net and we can save money while he stays here
In a sane world, we wouldn’t be renewing him, let alone paying him those ridiculous wages. The guy’s a regular at the j medical. Maybe 3-4m to be a backup to an actual professional, take it or leave it. That should be the club’s position.

not sure why u think that. the data proves he was reaching into beast form before his injury few months ago.

without him juve is suffering.

Cool bait, but frankly both with and without him the last few seasons have been nothing but collective suffering, with Vlahovic himself being one of the main protagonists in many of those…

Now on a more serious note i think most fans are just so fed up with everything that they couldn’t be bothered less whether he eventually stays or not, but what would surely be another sign of blatant incompetence from this management is offering him anything more than €5-7m in wages to renew, and even that is quite a stretch unless we are only operating with a future incentive in mind of potentially selling him on for a profit after a season or two.

Post doesn’t even make sense. Are you watching games even? When he was out of form team suffered yes. Why was he out of form? Because allegri and motta ruined him

You're overusing your bait, but I'll entertain you. Your claim makes no sense. Allegri and Motta supposedly had opposite styles. One played haram footbal, and the other's a press merchant obsessed with inverted wingbacks. Problem is, Vlahovic flopped with both. With Spalletti, he's been injured or out of form more than he's played.

You don't just hand 10m net a year to a flop. Unless you wan the club to sabotage itself even more than it already has?

I think this is a reasonable figure, no bonus. Get rid of Davis, Openda & get a partner for Dusan.
With his amount of absences I don't find two strikers enough if he's one of them. Kolo Muani sounds like a no-brainer but he's also damaged goods so I'd think twice about buying him too.

Looks like its over.
It was always going to end this way if the management was to maintain its ground and current wage structure which clearly meant we were going to lowball him compared to what he was previously earning.

Probably for the best tbh.

Agreed.

I think there was some room in 5-6m range before bonuses but I think Vlahovic just doesn't want to take a 50% paycut even if the contract he currently has is obviously way above his true value. Not his fault he got that contract offer and its not realistic at this time for the club.

I wonder what he'll get in the market on a free.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him settling for something similar to what we were offering if he is to stay in Europe and at a big club, but he’ll probably cash in much more in terms of a signing bonus and performance incentives to balance it out closer to what he really wants.

Otherwise there’s always the Saudi/Turkyie alternative that can lure him and pay up by doubling whatever he is being offered here.

I hope he gets similar to what Dibala and Rabiot got when they overvalued themselves and rejected Juves offers.

I think that is looking very likely. Maybe a month ago I would've disagreed but with ANOTHER injury and time off, I think that will put a red flag on him to a lot of clubs who were interested at 7-8m wages on a free.

Now, he's looking at a 4-5m one year "play and prove it" deal imo. Anything longer than 3 years, he's going to need to take a discount in the 3.5-4 range possibly. He's just been too hurt and its not like he was on fire before getting hurt.
