He does seem to confirm he made himself available to Vlahovic’s agents but that thus far nobody bothered contacting him, then said that nor will he go out there chasing after him, but did leave an open door in case they do become more desperate later on.

We’d probably want to settle this sooner but the player himself is clearly waiting out on other offers and likely only sees Juve as a last resort where he can always restart talks if he lowers his demands, however for now he is still playing his cards on the free market.

One thing for sure, this rumors won’t go away until he actually signs with someone else, which will likely drag on to late August.

And not only him. Plenty of our players with expiring contracts over valued themselves and ended with way lower wages in lesser clubs or positions. One would think that someone should be clever enough to learn from previous peoples mestakes, but that's not a case for now.
