Beggars can't be choosers. We aren't in the CL so the best of the best goalkeepers won't join us.

The gk department was the worst last season. Conceding every first shot on goal ffs.
Don't know if Martinez is the best way to go, but it certainly is better than di greg.

Hopefully daffara stays as second gk, I can see perin leaving.

Just do what I’m doing this summer and for the upcoming season. Laugh and mock the idiots in charge of the club and the dogshit players they sign and retain. They deserve nothing but laughter and insults.
I agree, it’s just a comedy show for me now, like Seinfeld. Watch us finally get Berardi with the Sassuolo clown coming here. So much for the Romafication of JJ, it’s now the Sassuolofication.

Can't wait until he saves a pen when we're 3 nil down to trabzonspor and he runs into the crowd and starts groin chopping an elderly man

Stop being so negative… there’s no way the Sassuolofication will prevail here as long as we still have Spalletti in charge, more so with him getting even more influence and decisional powers now, based on this alone we can rest assured the Romafication of Juve is and will still be in full flow for the time being.

Can't believe people want this cunt here.

We're playing in the fucking Europa League next season and we're broke. Just play Perin FFS, he is already a massive upgrade on Di Gregorio. Then promote Daffara as the #2. There's your goalkeeper situation sorted for 12 months.

Once we're back in the UCL then re-evaluate.
Who fucking cares about that EL. Winning it is a utopia. Serie A is what matters most and that gets you into the CL... And we need a better goalie. It's one of the most important positions to not fuck up.

I couldn't give a single fuck about the EL, agreed.

I'm just saying Perin is enough for a top 4 Serie A finish. The league is dogshit. And with guaranteed UCL income we will have more money to invest in a long-term GK solution, rather than another short term fix.

The GK problem is being used as the main Spalletti scapegoat for failing this season, along with not purchasing/adding a 5th ST to the squad in January which follows closely in the ranking.

Perin is not good enough to be a Juve #1.

And players that are 'good enough for a top-4 finish' should be changed, starting with the most important positions. Keeper might even make a case to be the most important of them.

A short term fix also is a semi-good option exactly because we could be banking on Daffara later on... If it doesn't get too expensive obviously.

So Emi Martinez or another one but we def need one imo. Rather pass on a stupid fullback is cash is trapped.

Juve #1 is not the same as jj #1
Perin is more than adequate for jj #1 so no to dumb jerks like Martinez

thats your point of view. Some here actually still support the team and hope it can improve.
I get saying no to Martinez. Not being content with Perin. If you want jj out, you buy a serious #1
I stopped trusting the clowns at the top doing the right thing. Tell me, do you see the light at the end of the tunnel?
BTW, I think all of us want success for the club but for some of us the tunnel is pointing vertically down & we are furiously digging in deeper as long as the leadership doesn't change at the top level.

Euhm, not yet. We have to work towards seeing light at the end of a tunnel. And on topic; a good goalie is one step towards that.

Tek absolutely sucked. He also cost us too many pints and was also very ugly.

This is weird post. Besides half a season in final year where he had butter fingers, Teks entire tenure for years was that of one top class super reliable goalie.

Then he half retired and joined Barca and continued to be fantastic.

We defenitely took him for granted, considering how far off his replacements have been.

Imo we don't need him as a GK. For now we should optimise spending and bolster other areas while playing Perin.

However the guy has won the World Cup and played a critical part all the way through the tournament. We 100% need that sort of experience in the dressing room. He's certainly not a downgrade on Perin so all in I think this is a good transfer.

Even if he's an immature piece of shit rather than a proper fucker like Lichtsteiner we could use some edge to the team. I don't expect him to become one of my favourites but I'm up for this one. Also it def means Digreg is leaving which is brilliant news.

Is roi on Martinez worth it as opposed to sticking with Perin & using that money on other needs?
