trying to transform that pile of shit into a proper team is a hard task. personally i wish him good luck, but i don't mind if he fails as expected. this is one of the hardest jobs in football at the moment

and within a year he won a conference league and a club world cup, right? fucking impressive, even with a very expensive squad. the first half of the final was a masterpiece in tactical preparation too.

congrats to enzo, unlike most of the shitty recycled italian coaches, i put him on the acceptable future coaches list.

Chelsea has to be into money laundery. I can't even describe their transfer moves over the past 2 years. Weirest shit ever. They are just switching players front and back and throwing hundreds of millions each window.

Chelsea is one of those clubs why Financial Fair Play was created... and they flaunt it with abandon.

I couldn't count the number of dead Russian hookers underlying the Ambramovich years.

Winning the Conference League with Chelsea's squad was not exactly an earth-shattering achievement. Legia Warsaw QF, Djurgardens SF (no, really) and Betis in the final to win it. Fuck, I'd forgotten how shit that tournament is.

You know my thoughts on summer tournaments...there is enough football in the calendar, and no one is (yet) putting that NASA trophy on the same level as ol' Big Ears.

That said, he's a good coach. But he was antsy as a player and I don't think much has changed with age. He comes across a bit like a Conte with some flexibility.

On paper you're right. Though to keep his team motivated enough to beat shit teams while knowing very well the expectations are nothing short but to win it, isnt as easy as it looks. It also gives bragging rights of being the only team to win all 3 modern european trophies. I wouldnt belittle his achievements, id be well chuffed if he won us them 2 'trophies'.

Jj would easily succumb under pressure land probably get knocked out by the second round.

Even prime Conte era JJ would've fumbled.
