Seriously, how on earth have Iceland only won this by 1 goal, they had the better goalscoring chances, england were utterly slow, without any urgency or ideas, and the defence... hahaha it was like watching 2 bonucci's at the back at times.

And Toney... How the fuck is he a 60 mill rated striker... literally the most overrated striker in the premier league.

If his name was Ivo Toni he’d be rated at 6 million. And Juve would get relegated for paying 30 million for him for being out of touch with Transmarkt’s valuations.

Martinez is to coaches what Pauleta is to strikers. Great when you're playing lesser competition in qualifiers. But when the big boy pants come on, they've got no answers. Croatia did very well for themselves, leaving Portugal with a lot of questions.

That said, I was glad to see Portugal opt to face Croatia as a warm-up for this very reason.

Martinez had one good game for Belgium. Against Brazil. That's it.

The idea to leave Nainggolan at home, probably because Radja does not endorse bullshit, cost us any chance we had at moving past France. I still believe that with a decent manager, we had a real chance of winning that World Cup. Sadly our limited budget led us to Martinez.
