I don't get you people. If we've won 2-0 you would complain that we didn't score enough because they are joke of a team, we won 5-0 without breaking a sweat and as it's a routine for us you still complain.
It's because we know NEC is going to be relegated from Eredivisie, a shit league, and this sort of performance will be short lived from us because that's how this team and Spunkletti has always rolled. Nobody cares, it's basically a pre-season friendly.

Was important to see a reaction after the loss at the weekend and to make sure we start off on the right foot in EL.

Yes NEC might not even be conference league level atm when looking at how prone they are to mistakes and the weaknesses they’ve shown defensively but let’s also not forget that it’s not outside our realms of possibilities to make things for ourselves even more difficult than they needed to be even against this level of opponents so for now i’ll just enjoy this win by a huge scoreline because it is already a very rare sight around here and reserve any potential criticism for the weekend when we’ll have a whole different challenge vs Atalanta.

Good game. Celik, Woltemade, Alajbegovic with debut goals to boost their confidence.
The opponent wasn't of the highest quality but it was a very productive game since our new players could gel with the squad. Forza Juve!

If we win, it will only be marginal
Sadly
Or not.

Odd game, really. I don't think we were great, but NEC decided to make it as easy as possible for us. The foolish high line, man marking at odd times, acres of space, etc. With a bit more luck they could have scored, but from what I saw last night, they just might be the worst opponent we'll face all season. Europe & Serie A combined.

That being said: we did our part & were pretty clinical up front. And that's a nice change from the usual.

Great to have McKennie back.

NEC actually have slight chance to play in UCL this season. They lost agaibst Bodo in qualification

I actually prefer UEFA super league as a new top league in Europe. Where its consist only max rank 2 clubs in their countries which make it a real top level football

Or at least back to old model only winners goes to top level competition and winners cup for Copa winning in their countries

Good game which looked like a practice.
Their GK is horrible.
Grabara only got shots straight at him and I liked the fact he collected it rather than punch it like Vicario.
Also they were talking about D.G footwork. Grabara only too about 15 minutes to prove what D.G was suppose to do.
He also had other great passing moments. Spalletti was right, he was like an extra man.

The only downside is that its EL.
Id much rather see us drop points here than Sassuolo...

Probably didn't have one - he's not much of a thinker.

Great result. The performance was good at times, but it was nothing spectacular or exceptional.

Many passes were misplaced, and NEC had some openings. We even allowed them more total shots.
This game proved that we truly have a fantastic team. Spalletti is among the top five coaches in the world. Muani is the best striker. Luiz is the most in form midfielder in the world. Gonzalez proved he's world class. Juve don’t need any changes!
