Liverpool bought like 15 players last summer and yet they still hold players they don't want hostage. It makes no sense.

But even so, the hostage takers Liverpool will set their price and the negotiator, big data guy Cumolli, will keep hilariously lowballing the offer, while the ticking time bomb of the mercato approaches.

this time data guy might just have a huge boner and open the club's wallet. apart from the terrible passing accuracy, this is more than excellent:

He’s done well for them when given chances but it’s very strange how Slot never gives him a run of games even after he does well. There’s probably something still going on with him physically that they see behind the scenes.

15 mill for a fit Chiesa is a steal.

pre injury Chiesa or Yildiz, who is better?
yildiz has that god given talent that only a handful of players have. chiesa is nothing without his speed

that said, prime chiesa can be similarly effective in front of goal. if he could remain fit for ~80% of the season then for 15m and reasonable wages he's a bargain

Federico #Chiesa situation. The player has realized, despite having tried everything to stay, that he has no future at #Liverpool. Among the proposed solutions, #Juventus is the one that touches him most from a human standpoint, and he is even willing to give up part of his current salary. The bianconeri management, which makes decisions collegially, still needs to find the "unitary" line, however, given that the investment is still significant and involves technical risks.

Papa Enrico is the key here.. he felt disappointed when Fede left Juve.

Anyone heard Liverpool’ song for him? Can he play Champions League for us? Wasn’t he excluded from the Liverpool CL list at the last min? Either way. We’re going to draw Liverpool. And I cannot wait.
