I really like GJustJuve but let’s be serious, whenever the club plans to ship out a crucial player for whatever reason he always finds a positive spin to it to have us not regret it as much, in fact he is doing the same with Bremer nowadays too… in one of his videos the other week he literally said that Kelly had been outperforming and babysitting Bremer this season or something of the sorts.

Chiesa has reiterated multiple times he was forced out, and likely it had to do with his fitness issues and us wanting to promote Yildiz as a starter in his preffered LM/LW role, and i remember reading some stuff about him having sided with Allegri vs Giuntoli post Coppa final, so clearly Giuntoli and then his studge Motta had different plans and wanted to move him on, while probably thinking initially they’ll be able to cash in double the plusvalenza that they eventually got from his sale.

Chiesa's problem is, he plays in the EPL.

So Liverpool are going to ask for €15-20 million to sell him, which is chump change to them, but is a real investment and gamble for a Serie A club.

Liverpool are going to want to make it permanent and wipe their hands of him, while every Serie A club is going to ask for a loan with the option to buy, with Liverpool covering some of the wages. I don't know what he makes, but I'm going to assume not much by EPL standards, but expensive by Serie A standards.

It's always tough to make transfers work going from a rich league like the EPL to a poverty league like Serie A.

It's hard to imagine there is a quick and obvious solution here on the horizon. It could play out until late in the window when we'll see how desperate Liverpool is to get rid of him

The lack of a technical, pacey player is very noticeable. Aside from Conceição, the team basically has no fast dribblers. Bringing Chiesa back would make the attack far more dynamic and lead to a clear improvement.

That if he can actually stay fit long enough to regain the form and pace we’ve seen during his good days, which unfortunately we’re far from atm… however i do fully agree with the main point, we definitely need to add more players with those kind of characteristics.

In recent years, Juve have hardly moved for this kind of player. Just look at the list of players they’ve brought in none of them are truly technical/technique player except Conceicao. Chiesa would be a low cost option even though he struggles stay fit, he can contribute in the rotation system.

Looks like he's staying at Liverpool, according to the latest news. He hardly got any playing time last season, frequently benched during pre season, and wasn't in the starting lineup.
