I like how people act shocked he is bad. Did you guys forget he was a serie b player till he was 23 basically?

You guys gave bonucci a hard time and he was one of the greatest defenders of all time. But you act shocked gay to level is so low lol

He's the most grinta player in the squad.

He's our second best and most dangerous striker after Vlahovic.

And he's our second best defender after Bremer.

One mistake doesn't change all this.

This guy is essential for this team.

Couldn't have said it better although I think Kalulu is pretty close to his level.

Also, the mistake did not change the end result for us, so that's important.

And to be fair, defending 1v1 vs Vardy on the counter is not the easiest of tasks. The guy made a career on outwitting defenders on 1v1 counters and scoring. No shame in losing that battle.

gatti is 190, vardy is 178. all gatti should have done is to win an easy aerial duel

he miscalculated the flight of the ball in an amateurish way. the rest isn't out of the ordinary, cambiaso was right, gatti shouldn't have been left alone with vardy so it's partially on the team too. still, that aerial was gatti's to lose

It's easy to say that from in front of the PC, but Vardy has a ton of experience on how to position himself in these kind of situations. A foul would have meant a straight red card for Gatti and missing the next 2 games while we are short on defenders. He wanted to win it cleanly and lost. Mistakes happen, what's important is that it did not cost us any points.

He's still a top defender in my book and a great partner to Bremer.

gatti isn't a top defender and when you're 12 cm's taller, you shouldn't lose an easy aerial like that, period. he didn't risk a red, that's a ridiculous alibi. he misjudged a ball and then slipped like bambi

People over here have really short memories on how he performed vs Real when he was by far our best player. And second best on the pitch after Mbappe
they didnt, at least i didnt, the problem is he is useful when we park the bus, but we should have more ambition than this. First game with high defence and we already see his shortcomings.

@Amer is trolling. It’s hilarious to see you agree with him unironically, but given your post history, it’s not surprising.

Another monster match from the Gatmaster. We would have been 2 down if not for him.
Best player on the pitch for us acording to whoscored
https://www.whoscored.com/matches/1...ampions-league-2025-2026-juventus-sporting-cp

- - - Updated - - -
you linked the preview buddy, that grade is an average of all of his performances

Juventus 1-1 Sporting CP - Champions League 2025/2026 Live
Juventus 1-1 Sporting CP - Champions League 2025/2026 - Live Statistics

he was our 10th best player yesterday, at least according to whoscored. vlahovic was the best with 7.69, gatti got a 6.22, only di gregorio was worse among the starters (and the subs start from 6.0 and a shorter time to improve on their grades)

sofascore also ranks him behind every other starter but mdg: Juventus vs Sporting CP live score, H2H and lineups | Sofascore with them, all players start from 6.5

My bad.
So you're saying he's been our best player in UCL matches this season?
