That will probably be the case but I always found Kostic a decent player. Nothing special by any means but he does what he's supposed to do. He shouldn't function as a fullback 'though and not as an attacking winger either so it's probably wingback or nothing at all.

He is a player from which you ask simple things and he will deliver. He leaves his heart out on the field every game he plays. Keep it simple he will do a great job. He was labelled as failure since the days he signed but the truth is he is a good squad player, great player to have for Serie A.

I still don’t think he can be a good enough fullback for us but for as long as we use wingbacks he sure proved himself to be our best available option on the left, when motivated and in this kind of form he can be quite useful.

Yeah, you can place him there. He'll always try but he's not defensively sound... And we're not equipped with magestic center backs either, so I'd rather not put my money on that working.

Agreed. Kostic should not play LW. His defending is probably not good enough to play a LB either but in an attacking lineup he could almost advance from LB to LWB

This is also precisely why they shouldnt even consider giving him a new deal, something ive already seen floating around the internets. He’s very one dimensional, and only fits as a wingback. So until they know for certain who the manager is next season, they should let him play out his contract.

I saw puczka training with the first team the other day before the cremonese game, maybe spalletti gives him his debut. Hes got a cannon for a leg and defends better than Kostic
