Has a great left foot but I think we didn't see him at his best. Not a star but did a squad role and didn't complain.

The issue was that we didn't find an alternative and ended up playing him for too long. He seemed happy to make himself available when needed.

Best left foot in the team. We didn't utilize him properly but if we had a striker like Toni or Amauri they would have connected on a lot of goals.

Yeah this guy was everything a stopgap solution should be. Came in with moderate expectations, showed up, did well at what he's good at, made zero fuss and put in a shift when called on.

I wish we'd sign more "all-business grafter" types than the "formerly gifted child" type of players we seem to always go for when signing squad players. The latter always disappoint predictably.
