I'll leave this until March or something, hopefully some good skins, packs etc.
Sounds like this game needs another year.

TBH I'm only going to play my existing file on FM24, so a bit pointless to upgrade to FM26 now just to play a more graphically aesthetic game, minus the UI bugs.

With a bit of luck, come January the game should be cheaper too.

I wouldn't sleep on the game completely, as i mentioned before match engine and tactical improvements are pretty fun, matches feel much less robotic and more alive when you see occassional amazing through balls, intricate passing moves, lobbed finishes etc. it is greatly improved from FM24 in that sense.

However, the downsides are also still true, the UI is not intuitive, you have to click through too many screens to find basic stuff. The updates they've made since beta launch have gone a ways to improve this but the main thing Ive had an issue with is how broken the player database search function is for me. When searching for new players it takes forever to load the database and, if i change any attribute about the players I'm looking at, it then again takes forever to search again.

Playing as Juve that's not too much of a problem because I can just sign high profile players I already know from real life or previous FMs but if I were trying to play as a 3rd division side, scouring for deals, the game would be completely unplayable

My verdict is that its a significant improvement from previous FMs in a lot of crucial ways but, also, still basically unplayable for a lot of players because of the UI issues.

I've had fun playing it and it could be a great game IF SI can fix the terrible state of the UI.

    PS

I have noticed that SI seems to be releasing updates every other day now so it does seem like they are desperately scrambling to fix the situation because they are getting obliterated via Steam reviews.

Downloaded the demo just to get the feel.
    Conceicao is great.
Impossible to sell or buy a good midfielder.
Tried for N.Paz but Como are greedy.
Tried a 4-3-1-2 formation in one friendly and the team didnt perform.
I placed Conceicao and Yildiz on the wings and they won me the second friendly in some sort of 4-3-3.
    Any reccomendations?
So how do I improve the team in the first season? Still on demo though..
The same way you would in every previous FM, sign new players or change up your tactics. I've found many of the same things that were effective in past FMs, play ball out of defence ( need defenders who are good on the ball), high press, pass into space, play through the middle, have wide attackers that can take on their man and cut inside all seem to be pretty effective.

Signing Nico Paz helped a lot too, dude is an absolute beast. However I can't same the say for Esposito who has been a disappointment so far.
