I don't know how this forum running, two years back I scanned the forum with Nmap and other tools on Kali Linux like whois and etc but I dont remember the result. In my work we have Fortigate firewall that provide us anti spam and other security features. Anti spam on the firewall works based signature and is updated by the FortiGuard Distribution Network. I have also configured antispam profile for email includes some filters like Detect Phishing URLs, IP Address Check and URL Check. Spam rarely occurs and I check it through Log And Reports.
@Marty WAF comes to my mind as final solution that blocking suspicious IPs or traffic patterns based on the algorithm.

Edit: Made a fixy-fix with the database storage type, fingers crossed.

Are you using browsers on mobile, or forum apps like Tapatalk?

I think that bug for Safari was talked about a while ago but can't quite remember what the fix was but have a vague memory it was related to one of the buttons in the editor, perhaps it was the cog wheel? Give it a try.

I think's it's per forum only so either on or off. If people think I should pause this feature or increase the time between refreshing/polling from 30 sec we could try that. But it's so long since I implented it I barely remember. Checking later though.
