Really glad for him that he got his goal and hope it will help his confidence, was an very important one also, but must say his overall performance and decision making at times were very frustrating and wasteful.

I'm probably a sucker but he always looks RIGHT on the cusp of taking the step up and becoming a top player. He has all the technical ingredients for it.

The problem isn't only in his shooting but also in his stupid decisions. Yesterday he had all clear Kolo in penalty, yet he chooses to shoot straight at defender and ofc gets blocked. He has to start thinking when he is playing, speed, grinta and balanc is there, but the shooting and football iq is not.

I'm probably a sucker but he always looks RIGHT on the cusp of taking the step up and becoming a top player. He has all the technical ingredients for it.

I think he lacks the most important one, which is that ability of slowing it down and being decisive at the end.
He’s often frenetic, seems rushed and doesn’t pick his head up at times.
Can’t fault his effort or application, but I believe he will always be at least a rung behind the top players.

That was indeed his most annoying moment yesterday and in fact also got subbed off soon after if i’m not mistaken, needs to be way smarter in his decision making at key moments in order to take that leap forward.

Basically he was limping and causing concerns before the HT break but then returned to the pitch in the second half without any serious issues and continued to play till the 56th minute, then got subbed off normally… so i’d say for now it’s looking like all is well, hopefully at least.
