Bro, this is the best signing we can get and a huge upgrade to our shitty midfield.
Kessie has consistently played around 40 games a season since in saudi, his injury record is good. He won the acl elite ( asian champions league) back to back and won the player of the year in that tournament. Al Ahli fans and players are gutted to see him go, he is well respected not only by them but even by Barcelona fans.
Who cares where he played, he still has quality, this is what we moan about how EPL fans see us, as farmers, so we do the same about saudi league. Quality is quality, he went for the money, won and now back to a familiar league.
I really don't know him, but the thing about being a winner is the main draw for me.
He's won Serie A, he's won La Liga, he's won the AFC Champions League twice and he's won the ACON. We badly need winners in our team and I think he is immediately our most successful player. Still not 30 yet, either.

Thuram is a poor and entirely uninteresting player. He'll be the one benched.
If we end up with a 3-man mid it'll be Locatelli, Kessie and Luiz. I think we'll end up in a 433:
Locatelli will return to the hybrid DM/CB role meaning that in possession the FBs can push up to make it more like a 343. This time with no Dusan to aim for the counters will begin with long passes into spaces out wide for the attackers to run into.
When Kolo doesn't score the goals that (surely) somebody at the club thinks he will we'll try these three as a trident and it'll work because of how interchangable they are becoming a nightmare for the other team to plan against, so they are forced into zonal marking which never works. We'll scrape into top 4 and Spalletti will look like a genius.

Our midfield is abysmal, so signing "My Pussy" makes perfect sense. He'd instantly be our best midfielder, no questions asked.
We have the overrated Jabroni Captain Sofa Scora, Gutless Loliz, Roadrunner McNuggets, and a perennially injured Thuram in our rotation.
