Some points for the match:
-Inter has superior players, but i never rated Chivu as a coach, great player, likeable guy (i met him in the past) but he has not the experience for this level, i was expecting Inter to perform worse.
-Inter has a young generation, some players are totally inexperienced, they will become better individually and as a team, i was expecting they wouldn't be so well prepared already.
-Internationale was always a team with a lesser Italian percentage, always kept the bare minimum the italian federation dictated, but just look at them now, unlike us, they have good Italian players who actually are carrying the team and are not dragging her down

-It is now safe to assume that Spaletti has decided to start our new season with 4-2-3-1
-DiGre is bad, has fault for the first goal, but in the second koopmeiners+Locatelli were outpaced and exposed our defense.
-Our defenders in general and defensive midfielders are all very slow and very easily outpaced. This is exactly what we saw vs Chelsea, we are very vulnerable against swift wingers and vertical paces. Many many serie A teams play like that, defend the entire game and wait the opportunity to strike on the counter, exactly how inter did.
-If we keep Conceisao, Yildiz and add Boga and Alajbegovic to mix, we will have a very pacey forward line, with Muani keeping central defenders busy and create spaces for the supporting strikers. We might concede more on the counters, waste most of our chances, because we dobt have a prolific finisher, but at least next season we will enjoy a great spectacle!

Luciano #Spalletti to 'Sky Sport': "#KoloMuani and #Alajbegovic? I evaluate them highly, in the sense that, before signing them, I watched them carefully and I know them well.

#Alajbegovic was already getting followed previously by #Massara, so these are things that give us peace of mind.

However, they need to reach full fitness, because they arrived just three days ago and maybe it was a bit forced to ask them to play an entire half.

They are strong players who possess an important level of football, but then we have to see how we will manage to find the right balance, how we will manage to become a team.

Because tonight #Inter, in the first half, showed that they are more of a team than we are and that is a job, a process that we absolutely must undergo, because we need to take steps forward".

Inter plays a prehistoric 3-5-2 that is set up to defend and hit on the break. If we could play with pace and a bit of flair, we force them back and into a plan B, which is always uncomfortable for them. It's been shown on countless occasions tgat Inter are limited. That said, if they get ahead, it's very hard getting level. Bodo showed that a little bit of precision and heart is enough to scramble Chivu's tactics.

Decent showing overall. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. Kerim could’ve scored late on, and there was some really nice link-up between him, Kolo and Boga towards the end. Kolo only needed a few minutes to look three times the striker David is. More athletic, more aggressive, better movement and positioning.

It's the aggression and directness that gives me hope for Randy Mofo over Turin's David. He is an outlet rather than a fixed focal point.

Obviously DiPapiermachewrists can't be our keeper for next season.

This is how my first dose of getting into Italian football was seeing one match Inter had one home country player starting. While Juve had plenty! So disappointing to see what you describe above. Remember when the minnow clubs of serie where like our farm system when we acquired Italian talent regularly with no money issues. Now it's like haggling with them over a few million euro.

I dont want to share because i hate the cunts, but if you watch inters training sessions ans compare them to ours the difference is vast.

They practice on agility doing drills.
They practice 2 vs 1 situations
They practice shooting while under pressure
They practice crossing
They even practice defending

We practice rondo, passing the ball around
Practice footy tennis
Practice pointless training matches

The problem is and has been our training methods, ive watched our training sessions since the days of pirlo and very little has changed. How is this possible?
