If you get PS Plus Premium PS5 is worth having, you end up paying basically £120 per year for a good catalogue of older games. Really depends how much time you spend gaming. I don't like I did years ago but have spells. Certainly there isn't the steady release of games there were 10 years ago. But why would they when people are playing GTA for 10+ years.
PS Plus Premium is well worth the money. Only here to tap in to your recommendation and sign in with bold letters.
I rarely buy games, if I do it is thought through and someone I really want. On average I buy one or two games á year. I just wait until they come to the catalogue.
On that note, EA/Dice did the perfect marketing campaign for BF6. I haven't played any BF in years, but two months ago my friend told me BF5 was accessible on PS. So I started playing and got hooked. The game will drop from PS mid-november, so now I am looking very likely to buy BF6, which will be my first big purchase this year. I bought Dreamfall chapters ($2), Syberia 3 ($3), and Brothers ($9) earlier this year. Still haven't even finished either of them because I've been playing so many other "free" games in between. I bought them to play with my kids, and even these cheap games is something new for me to pickup on my own, I usually browse the catalogue instead.
There's a bunch of games I want to play (Death stranding 2, Spiritfarer, Clair Obscur, One step after fall, Neva, The last light, Astrobot 2, Split fiction, Ghost of Yotei, and so on), but they will eventually enter the catalogue, and I'll be waiting - because I am cheap AF.

I recently played Disco Elysium and it's a brilliant game for those that love the genre.

I fully expect Expedition 33 to win game of the year award.
Loved it (Disco Elysium)! Dark as hell, though. :D

Well Xbox got MGS port like a decade ago, and it was shocking for everyone.

So it feels fair PS gets xbox flagship franchise. Tho honestly, unlike MGS, I am not sure how many PS gamers will care about having Halo ported to their console. Besides initial novelty.
They have zero good shooters. PS5 console will eat up Halo: Remakester.

What pes is this from? Is the patch free? I assume it’s for pc?

Shame the chants and club anthem is a bit too modern for 99.

Yeah, I don’t know either, I just thought it was pretty neat with the nostalgia.

I would assume it is a remaster for new gen systems. Too bad they couldn’t apply old recordings of chants from the late 90’s.

I remember modding one of the earlier Pes games on what was my laptop back then a very long time ago, there was a way to amend chants, If I recall there were certain number of slots per club and the files had to match up with the club ID which you could find online, at least that's how I remember it.

Looking at this yeah its Pes 2021, literally impossible to get a copy of that game now on PC, and Steam took it off their store when Konami were pushing their later releases.

Been looking at Anno 117 recently. Anyone here played it or any of the other games in the series? I like city building games, the era is appealing to me, but this one has kind of mixed reviews.

Yeah, I'm guessing you're looking at the new Roman one that came out? that I've read that particular one is not that good, at least in terms of UI, online features and how much it is to buy it currently, it's probably not quite worth it.

I've played a couple of the others which I got for free, they're probably one of the best city building series out there, I've read that Anno 1404 and Anno 1800 are amongst the best editions of the series though.

If any of you got a PC and have the EPIC game installer, just to let you know Hogwarts legacy is free to own forever for the next 5 days before the next free game is unveiled!

I'm no big Harry Potter fan but this was a big hit when it came out 2 years ago, well worth having it in your library.

I have it on PS5.
It's an alright game. Hogwarts and Hogsmeade are really well made, but the rest of the map is copy-paste garbage. The main storyline is okay, and one of the side questlines is very good, but the rest are meh. And the collectibles in this game are mind-numbingly boring and tedious- it's a terrible game to get the platinum trophy.

I suppose just as well I didn't buy it at launch, it looked better than it sounds on the streams I watched.

Really hoping more big games are made free by Epic this month. Still annoyed I missed out on death stranding when it was free a couple of years ago.
