If you get PS Plus Premium PS5 is worth having, you end up paying basically £120 per year for a good catalogue of older games. Really depends how much time you spend gaming. I don't like I did years ago but have spells. Certainly there isn't the steady release of games there were 10 years ago. But why would they when people are playing GTA for 10+ years.
PS Plus Premium is well worth the money. Only here to tap in to your recommendation and sign in with bold letters.
I rarely buy games, if I do it is thought through and someone I really want. On average I buy one or two games á year. I just wait until they come to the catalogue.
On that note, EA/Dice did the perfect marketing campaign for BF6. I haven't played any BF in years, but two months ago my friend told me BF5 was accessible on PS. So I started playing and got hooked. The game will drop from PS mid-november, so now I am looking very likely to buy BF6, which will be my first big purchase this year. I bought Dreamfall chapters ($2), Syberia 3 ($3), and Brothers ($9) earlier this year. Still haven't even finished either of them because I've been playing so many other "free" games in between. I bought them to play with my kids, and even these cheap games is something new for me to pickup on my own, I usually browse the catalogue instead.
There's a bunch of games I want to play (Death stranding 2, Spiritfarer, Clair Obscur, One step after fall, Neva, The last light, Astrobot 2, Split fiction, Ghost of Yotei, and so on), but they will eventually enter the catalogue, and I'll be waiting - because I am cheap AF.

I recently played Disco Elysium and it's a brilliant game for those that love the genre.
I fully expect Expedition 33 to win game of the year award.
Loved it (Disco Elysium)! Dark as hell, though.
