The boys season 5 gotta be one of the worst final seasons of a show I've ever seen
yeah most of the criticism was fully valid

they promised hell by homelander. i expected some proper bloody episodes, like homelander killing half of washington dc or something, the murder of a few of the boys, even some supes. and all we got was a wannabe trump in fantasy land calling himself god, then a mere 3 minutes of pretty underwhelming showdown. and the final scenes involving butcher, i mean what the fuck. what happens to soldier boy? where were the gen v guys (and why did they cancel that show lol)

especially the last 2 episodes were pure wasted potential, just like with game of thrones. i didn't expect full fan service from such a show but still, it was pretty meh. i guess high expectations are indeed hard to meet

the only satisfying moment was homelander's death but that was a given based on the comics, wasn't it - even tough in the original story it's someone else holding the crowbar

anyway, this is a solid 9/10 roast:

Lately, I've been feeling like watching series again. I just don't want to waste my time on garbage shows, especially since most new series these days have repetitive and pointless storylines and the same boring plots. No wonder Netflix is losing viewers, audiences drop off after season one.
I've watched the first two seasons of The Man in the High Castle, and so far, the story feels new brand and the whole series has been engaging for me. It's seriously underrated. Don't know why it didn't get the recognition it deserves.
