So I have been privileged to write the first post in Giovanni Carnevali bread.

As I have not been following Sassuolo closely I can only rate his appearance for now which I would grade at strong 7/10 age considered.

Big improvement on Comolli, Ferrero and Scanavino.

Although i am very pessimistic regarding this appointment i am still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt based on his overall experience and managerial competences alone, don’t care about the political influence side because that’s highly volatile anyway, as well as subjective, but as long as he is already here there’s not much left to do now other than to just hope he will somehow do well and that he doesn’t turn out to be just another shady appointment down the line.

Another DEI Shitalian hire with no experience other than maintaining a dilapidated stadium in a town of like 50k people who all probably never left their province. Now he’s in charge of one of the biggest clubs in Italy, which doesn’t really say much anymore, expected to turn around a dinosaur of a club that just finished outside of a CL spot.

Forget Roma, we are now Sassuolo. And we should finish in 10th just like them.

Probably just about anyone that isn’t Marotta’s lapdog or Gravina’s FIGC apologist and closest acquaintance.

Tare? Although, he it didn't go too well at AC Milan this season. But that was mainly due to Max being Max.

Well i pretty much stated the same, in the sense that i am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt now that he is here and will only really judge based on what he does for Juve, but you can’t say there aren’t reasonable doubts or motives to be pessimistic regarding someone that is closely tied and aligned with those that been actively trying to bring this club down to it’s knees in recent years.

Well, serious question without chosing a side. Gravina is out, Marotta's interests are a completely different matter now to Carnivale's so what's the viewed big problem with them benefitting from one another in the past? It's not like he'll be looking to gift them players... Right?

Plus Marotta has not been trying to bring this club down to it's knees. He just benefitted from it obviously.
