I’m 34 and went on Monday to play futsal with kids 15 years younger than me, most of whom are also better. Was only for an hour, but after 10 minutes my face was red as hell and at the end I felt like puking. Its 5 days until next session and I’m starting to wonder whether my legs will recover in time

Ok, I’m comfortably better than those guys but it’s ridiculous how much stamina you lose, I weigh basically the same amount as in my early 20ties and probably have more muscle nowadays, but I just don’t have that endless motor anymore

I don't think it makes much difference. Dumbbell curls and EZ curls are the exercises I do most regularly. I do this with two dumbbells and it builds my biceps(mainly for building muscle/my biceps instead of getting bigger and growing them) .As far as I know, it's done with dumbbells and helps focus on form and stretch.
I mean if you engage the muscle properly with the right form and pace you will eventually see results. But this bypasses the most important elements: nutrition, discipline and intensity. Since that doesnt sound too appealing, it's easier to just sell gimmicks as magic fixes this shit takes time, unless you have outwordly genetics
