I’m not watching Italy vs Turkey, but Turkey must be playing poorly if Italy have scored three.

[AFL_ITALIA]

How has Montella not been fired yet?

Spain is the worst thing to ever happen to this sport.

@Bianconero_Aus
While watching the highlights of the Brazil Australia match, I noticed a player of Italian descent playing for Australia(Jacob Italiano). What's his situation? Is he a capable, quality player?

He’s a good player. Very hardworking, great workrate and a decent crosser of the ball. He had a good World Cup and was unlucky to have gotten injured and missed the game against Egypt.

Deserves a bigger stage than the Austrian Premier League.

There’s a couple of other players in the squad with Italian heritage (Volpato and Circati)

ronaldo allegedly left the nt after the coach said he decided who plays

Can't stand em, least of all that cucuntrella

One of the most boring teams to watch 90% of the time, the true "anti-football." Unfortunately I can't foresee them ever not being relevant anymore either.

I had to support them against Argentina and England, but I wasn't proud of it.

Spain is a lot more fun to watch than prime Italy imo

Sterile possession for the sake of possession is the bane of my existence. It's almost as bad as Allegro terrorism.

I admire them because they don't have the size & muscles but they are no pushovers. Also it's nice to a see team attack & impose their game so effortlessly.

I wouldn't call it sterile. They push you back & impose their game. Then it's the patient probing until you crack.

what @Wings said, it’s very methodical and takes a lot of discipline, training and understanding to maintain the kind of play style that Spain does

I just find it incredibly boring usually. I'm not doubting at all that it takes a tremendous amount of skill, after all they train their whole lives in this system, but their goal is to impose their game by stopping a game from actually occuring. I remember their match vs Russia in 2018 being absolutely horrendous for example. Granted they're not exactly the same now, but the base idea is still the same.

lol

And then Vitinha did the Messi celebration when he scored.

One of those players who was a wonderkid, dropped off, and now has found his feet again after the spell in Holland.

Terrible football nation.

[Bjerknes]

@s4tch is Milan Toth the other Toth's brother? How is that dude?

@s4tch is Milan Toth the other Toth's brother? How is that dude?

just saw him a few times in the nt, he's got a decent touch, can't say too much else

btw tóth is the 2nd most common family name here (i'll have my 30 year high school anniversary tomorrow, i had 2 tóth's in my class, i have about 30 tóth's in my phone contacts lol) and they went through very different academy systems, so i don't think they are related
