What exactly are these transfer directors doing? Any tard can look up a player in a database and check their stats. The difficult part of the job is knowing what players would fit into this current group and system while also dealing with selling clubs to buy the players at the real value. What is real value? Well it's not €40m for a soon to be 29 year old. We paid €90m for a 29 year old Higuain but this Mateta is no Higuain and I would even argue the Higuain transfer was a C rated transfer given how much we paid for him. Not saying we expect for the directors to find the next Pogba or Kvaratskelia deal but man dont spend big on a 29 year old.

We better just gamble and get Rayan from Vasco Da Gama

19 years old, 25m valuation by Transfermarkt. 185cm (6 ft2) is pretty tall for me. Don't know if he can still grow, take a risk sometime

Bayern, Real, Dortmund, Bournemouth,PSG, Barca have an eye for him, with Bournemouth leading the line, I think Bournemouth is one of that data driven club that of data driven club that buy cheap players to sell them for high profit

Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Kerkez etc, fuck team balance for them, money talk, they got a new backline lol

Im adamant Cuntmolli doesnt even know where Brazil is on a map, probably thinks vasco da gama is a peri peri sauce brand.

I just dont see how a player approaching 30 thats never played for a major club and has a year left on his contract can be worth 40M, even in todays market. En Nesyri at least has a ton of experience in la liga and would just be a loan. We just need someone until the end of the season that can head a ball

play gatti as a striker then. he's better in aerials than any potential striker we're linked with

unfortunately these are underwhelming players. it would be nice to have a healthy vlahovic, also a tall and talented next gen striker (those are all under 185 though), but if we can't bring an affordable, semi-good lamp post, then forget high crosses

btw we could just offer some cash for kolo muani. he hasn't played for psg this season, technically he's available.

Jean-Philippe Mateta had been prioritising a Serie A move. Milan and Juventus the two clubs to have explored transfers at different points between now and last summer.

Mateta now also open to a Premier League switch as well providing his terms are met. Any club would need to offer over double his basic Palace salary.

30m seems pretty generous for him, knowing we need player tall and score goals

It seems Palace will won't lower to 20m even in the summer. We only sell Chiesa for 12m, good luck reaching 30m for player with 1 year left on the contract, where club know they can get him for free the year after.

You know what it feels like if club pay 30m on expiring contract. Feel like 30m loan fee for 1 year and 0 obligation LOL

Many Juventus fans are upset that JP Mateta is close to joining Milan, but what they need to understand is that the clubs' possibilities are different at this moment: Milan offered €35 million in cash + bonuses and commissions linked to being able to loan out Nkunku.

Juventus could only offer a costly loan with a buy obligation which is link to qualifying for the next season’s Champions League.”
