3 goals in 944 minutes last season
1 goal and 1 assist 2 seasons ago, in 750 minutes played

Seems very promising to spend 20mln on, or to include our best youth players

Its 15m and he is a teenager. Not exactly the finished article in the 17-18 age range last 2 seasons.

Its early scouting/signings range we should do for raw Italian talent. Before Atalanta buys them and after half season of good performance said players become out of our price range.

I do agree with what you're saying. But 15 million for what he displayed so far is way too much. It's 4 goals in 2 years man.

You have to look at position, profile and they most likely taking into a account youth footie pedigree. He is a CF, auto hike on price for that alone, 19, Italian, very physical box striker but alright technique. Already seen as future option for NT etc.

All in all double figure sum makes sense as what Genoa would ask for after fostering said talent. But he is still raw talent, so price being 10-15m makes sense.

Also its a sense of gambling on future growth, so IMO 15m is neither shocking or that much. Its almost bare minimum expected for type of profile.

Not everyone has weird low release clause like Liberali. Who I also hope we sign and see if he pans out, in loan or with us. Because 6.5m is nothing. Just like I dont think 15m is that regrettable of a sum for future investment.

Carnevali has a catching up to do update Juves process of getting back in early on young domestic talent. So the earlier he targets them the better for us IMO.

At just 19 years old, he is already showing a great deal of promise. I would sign him without a second thought.

I agree that 15mln is nothing for a 19yo striker who is showing promise.
On one hand people here say we should be poaching such players before they become unavailable and then complain Juventus do exactly that.
If he scored 10+ goals next season at Genoa he'd be on his way to Aston Villa for 50mln.

it's 23 though

while jj needs plusvalenza, we're basically helping genoa out

either ekhator is ready for the first team or he's money down the toilet when it comes to next season. i have no idea what this club is doing
