Why did we have to triple his wage? Guy has barely done anything and is already at 1.3 mil net. Thats ridiculous- and it’s not like there was any competition for his signature

And you know this how? Isn't it obvious that if a club pays close to 20m for your signature you will be earning decent money and not something similar to someone who's not even worth 3m?
You guys pretend to be smart asses with every post yet do not accept some obvious facts.

this Jeff Ekhator signing came actually from nowhere, atleast i dont think anyone had him as a target. Atleast its a sign that we have scouts focusing on young players.
My question is: did they value his physical skills? Is he fast? Agile? Power? What made them think he can be a choice for JUVE?

so potentially a Lukaku type of player if he fulfills his expectations.
I am curious, wont rate this move because he is young and we dont have the scouting information they have.
Atleast i am more for this kind of signing than to invest heavy in 31y old Sorloth who is surely slower, less agile, and etc. than this guy

My guess is that Ekhator is a bit better technically than Kean. The 2 minutes I have seen him play it looks like he knows how to play that striker role. Unlike Vlahovic who's not able to hold on to the ball nor pass a teammate

I'm hopeful. We create far more chances than Genoa do, and probably of higher quality as well. Who knows, maybe the stars will align for him and we'll have even a good player on our hands again.
