How long until football clubs start producing their own shirts in-house?

Aldi have figured out how to copy and improve branded products why don't football clubs do the same? The bigger ones sell enough to cover operational costs and would likely make more money. Why don't we just buy Kappa and not piss about with Nike and Adidas?

Aldi have figured out how to copy and improve branded products why don't football clubs do the same? The bigger ones sell enough to cover operational costs and would likely make more money. Why don't we just buy Kappa and not piss about with Nike and Adidas?

Not sure if clubs make their kits completely in‑house or if they outsource to partners with separate R&D, design, and materials teams. It depends on many factors, and the first and most important one is investment. As far as I know, Venezia produce their own kits and one of them turned out absolutely stunning.
