Valverde seems like the best midfielder in Europe right now. Even after his red today, I couldn't imagine him not being in the running for best midfielder. Reminds me of the 2003 Nedved season.

But the gayest club chant in the game is no doubt Real Madrid's. It sounds so gay, so fake, like a retard could write it. I'm sure most of their fans around the world are retards so it fits.

Valve seems consistently yet low key one of the best itw year after year

yet he’s drowned out in his own squad let alone by other players in Europe. I even remember reading Serie ass fan boys putting spare ass barella over valve a few szns ago

But the stats do prove that valve doesn’t come close to Locatelli. Plus he’s not a euro champion either

Crazy decision by Simeone to put Nico Gonzalez on Yamal. He got a red card, of course.

He got it in the added time of the first half. Does this count that he played 45 minutes, or not?

I could watch Yamal play football for days.

There's a move he made 2nd half where he was cutting in from right with unbelievably smooth fakes and gliding dribbles.

Somehow for someone that big in size just slipped through 3 defenders, just missed the shot wide, a shot he had no logical right to get to begin with.

Some of these guys skills we take for granted, but it was absolutely sick to see what he was doing. Truly a one man show.

Just over middle half to near end of clip:

Poor Nico. He was on the receiving end of all those tricks in the first half.

Simeone gets praised for being a great tactician. But what the fuck made him debute an awkward winger as an LB vs the most dangerous RW on the planet?

This match was practically meaningless for Atletico. Perhaps he was trying to confuse Flick ahead of the two much more important matches against Barcelona in CL.

Lamine is incredible. I've been making an effort to watch Barca highlights just to see what the fuck he's going to do next. Every time he receives the ball it is exciting.

my brother is a lifelong barca fan (since '00 iirc). he's been spending a lot of time at my place lately and we watched a lot of barca games. obviously yamal is incredible, he's one of the few players worth watching nowadays. he's top3 even for me alongside kenan and olise. but highlights won't give you the whole story. his form is fluctuating, he's got a nonchalant attitude, sometimes he is just a passenger. still makes it to the highlights, but many times he just doesn't care. mentality wise he's way off the mark when it comes to comparisons with messi. probably the best current player ability wise, he needs to grow a lot as a person to become an all-time great

tl;dr: genius but lazy at times

37 goals/assists in an unfinished season for an 18 years old winger is something unseen. (P.S. 40 G/A if we add the matches for Spain).
From what I remember, only the 18 yo Brazilian Ronaldo came close to these numbers in the free-scoring Dutch league in the 90s. As a striker.
