I think your best interview approach would be to do a gray hat raid of the interviewer's computer systems, you pull all the interviewer's risque photos off of his iCloud, and you share the financial spreadsheets of all the people working in his and other departments.

And then tell him that if he doesn't hire you for $500,000 a year, all of that is going public on Reddit.

How could anyone refuse an info sec hire with those kinda credentials, right?
I'll wake up from that dream and apply normally. But tell me how that works out for you.

Fingers crossed. I’m waiting, maybe this time luck will be on my side.

We've received your application and are currently in the process of reviewing candidates' qualifications closely. Should your resume and experience align with our requirements for the Senior Information Security Officer role, we will reach out to you to schedule an initial video screening interview within the next week.

I'm the same place I've been for the past 4+ years. Could be better, could be a lot worse.
I asked because I’m in almost the same situation. I’m currently employed, but I’m looking for job opportunities abroad. Every day I see many job postings on LinkedIn / online job board and apply to some of them. I also spend time studying and practicing(such as the STAR method) especially working on improving my language skills.

Many might not even be real, good luck

We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to learn about your background and encourage you to stay connected with ... . for future opportunities that may be a great fit. Wishing you all the best in your professional journey, and we hope our paths may cross again in the future.
Most of these job postings are mainly for gathering data and analyzing the talent market rather than real hiring. I think many European or Western companies don’t show much interest in recruiting skilled workers from abroad. They generally prefer candidates from within their own country, and for someone like me who is outside Europe, the chances are usually quite limited.

Not sure about that, most of my company's hires are abroad these days. Mostly India. You're facing trouble mostly for political reasons I would assume.

I feel the same way. Because of India’s strong diplomatic relations, a lot of professionals from India are even going to Japan.
I feel like there’s really no way forward for me, especially when it’s something I have no control over. As soon as Iran appears on my profile or CV, I automatically get dropped from the hiring process .

It's rough out there, just keep trying.
